About Pacific Clinics' MTW Training Program

Pacific Clinics' Mental Health Worker (MHW) Training is a 10-Week Course which provides individuals with the knowledge and skills to become a Mental Health Worker (Peer Partner/Case Manager) and builds one's resume for competitive employment. In addition to the training, students must also be eligible & complete a 48 hour non-paid field training/internship.  Upon completion of the training and internship, graduates will receive a certificate as a Paraprofessional Mental Health Worker.

This certificated Paraprofessional Mental Health Worker Training Program for adults is funded through the MHSA and Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (LACDMH).  Students may be consumers, family members or other members of the community.  The course is offered via collaborative Pasadena City College classes and Pacific Clinics field training and internships.
